The Westside Clubhouse is a community-based psychosocial rehabilitation program for adults living with serious mental illness. More than a place to receive services, the Clubhouse is a community where members and staff work side-by-side to build meaningful relationships, develop skills, pursue employment and education, and support one another in recovery. Through the daily work of running the Clubhouse together, members gain confidence, strengthen their independence, and create fulfilling lives connected to their community.
The Westside Clubhouse is proud to be part of the global Clubhouse movement through Clubhouse International. We belong to a network of more than 370 Clubhouses in over 30 countries, all guided by internationally recognized Standards that promote dignity, opportunity, and recovery. As part of this worldwide community, we are committed to providing a welcoming environment where every member is valued, has a sense of belonging, and is supported in achieving their personal goals.
Membership Eligibility
Membership at the Westside Clubhouse is open to adults who:
- Are 18 years of age or older,
- Reside in San Francisco,
- Have a history of mental illness, and
- Are interested in participating in a supportive, recovery-oriented community
Membership is free, voluntary, and lifelong. There are no fees to join, no time limits on membership, and members choose how and when they participate. Whether you're looking to build meaningful relationships, develop new skills, pursue employment or education, or simply find a place where you belong, you're welcome at the Westside Clubhouse.

The Westside Clubhouse is located at 245 11th Street, 3rd Floor, San Francisco, CA 94103.
Hours of Operation
- Tuesday: 9:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
- Wednesday: 9:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
- Thursday: 9:30 a.m. – 11:45 a.m.
Each Clubhouse day includes a work-ordered day, a shared lunch, wellness activities, educational workshops, social opportunities, and community outings. Additional evening and weekend social and recreational activities are offered throughout the year.
Members are welcome to participate as often as they choose during operating hours. As membership and programming continue to grow, the Westside Clubhouse is working toward expanding its hours of operation to five days per week.
