Robert Rybicki

Bob has over twenty-five years of administrative experience in senior level positions. He has grown programs and fiscally stabilized each of the organizations that he has led. These experiences will serve him well as he leads Westside into the future.

Bob has served as the CEO for Youth and Family Enrichment Services, a multi-site organization that employed 170 staff members. The agency focused its efforts on substance abuse treatment, mental health counseling, domestic violence interventions, and youth development initiatives. The agency’s specialization was the coordination and provision of care for dual and triple diagnosed individuals. Under Bob’s leadership the organization became the largest provider of children and family services in San Mateo County.

As CEO of Shanti in San Francisco, he led the oldest HIV/AIDS organization in the country. The staff and Bob developed national programs and expanded services by working with agencies indigenous to their local communities.

As Assistant Health Commissioner at the Chicago Department of Public Health, he spearheaded HIV/AIDS and STD initiatives in communities of color, redistributing resources and talent to areas most impacted by these epidemics.

Finally as Executive Vice-President and CEO of Bonaventure House and the Center for Assisted Living, he oversaw a 30 bed residential facility for dual and tripled diagnosed individuals.
